Well, as you can tell by my sig I sold my second CTD on saturday. :{ :{ I made good money and it was getting time where it need some serious work, but I SURE miss it after only 24 hours. I am driving a Jeep Cherokee until I can find my next CTD. I REALLY want to find a nice 02 CTD 3500 QC LWB 4x4. Any tips on finding one would be great. Thanks!!

Dave

P. S.

I was putting gggasss in my jeep yesterday and it seemed like 5 or 6 nice cummins truck roared by. They were all rubbing it in my face. Oh well.

I have a long way to go before my cherokee looks like that one. Looks nice! I have no complaints about my jeep other than it can't pull very much weight, it's a lot smaller inside, and the fuel milage is not any better. So far it gets me from point A to B and that's all that matters.

If you're interested in modifying your XJ, or just keeping it up, period, head on over to http://www.naxja.org. You will not find a more knowledgeable XJ crowd anywhere.

BTW, that one has grown a bit. That was 3" of lift on 31x10. 50s. It's up to 6" of lift on 33x12. 50s now. And yes, I drove all the way to the top.

2001.5-2002

You have got your work cut out for yourself!!

That is gonna be a hard one to find in nice shape. Especially up there.

I just sold a 2001. 5 that was cherry with only 73,000 miles. I'm still trying to find a shrink that will listen to me :{ !!

All I can say is check the dealers and private owners. Stay away from the small time places. Mostly auctioned off pieces of junk.

They pop up on here occasionally as well as the Trader. Problem is most places rave about the truck... ... . Then you get there and it is nothing that you expected. I must have looked at over 30 trucks before I got my 3500.

I ran across a nice 2002 4x4 3500 QC HO Sport up in Michigan last year. Loaded to the gills for $18,000 and under 100,000 miles.

They are out there but it will take some searching.

If you want a REALLY nice one... ... A flight out West and a drive home may be in order... .

Good luck... ... . I'll keep my eyes open.....

Here here, I agree with everything you just said. I have my jeep and will take all the time I need to find the perfect one. I am a mechanic so high miles don't scare me too much, I would rather find one that needs work rather than find one that some has tried to fix and messed up. On my last truck, the person who installed the 5'R wiring plug cut off the factory harness for the 7 wire plug and used a black box with 7-8 studs on it, usually found on trailers. He bolted it where the spare was. Green corrosion every where. To get a factory 7 wire plug meant replacing the whole rear wiring harness. Thanks for the reply and lets keep this one going.

PS I dont mind flying any where, twice if i have too.
