Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) solenoid boot repair

Need to replace the fuel solenoid boot. I plan on the inner tube/wire tie method.

Anything going to fall apart when I cut the old boot off? Thanks.

The plunger and spring will drop out so do it over a bench or hang on to the guts so they don't hit the floor.

Send me a pm when the inner tube fails. I sell the replacement part. It seems more durable than the black one(oem). Its a primer gray color. "
