Make sure that you deal with Darin at www.solidsteel.biz or one of his dealers and NOT www.solidsteel.ca.

Snoking, I'm curious to know why you say this? From the posts I've read, Darin (solidsteel. biz) and Marv (solidsteel. ca) were business partners who had a blow-up and parted ways. They now sell exactly the same product. Since there's no real way for us to know who did what to whom, and since the products are the same... well, who cares?

I am willing to give Darin the "benefit of the doubt" on this. Product has/had his name on it. Also, he is the one with the dealer network. I find is a bit hard to believe that the same machine shop is producing the same product to two different specs. Just my hubble opinion. SNOKING

I got mine here... about a year and a half ago.

I am sure the price changed, but I was overwhelmed by the quality of the product. I know Darin's company was having a problem between taking orders in, and shipping them out (record keeping issues), so that may have caused the change.

I got mine right away with no problems.

No they shouldn't, the'll end up stealing it from him, ripping us off, and making it cheaper so you gotta buy another one soon!!

DC is in it for themselves, surely not for us...

Sorry folks, I got the 53 blues... . Paul

I agree with you comment about Chrysler.

Chysler should buy them from Darin and sell them over the counter to the million or so guys that have the same problem.

Woops, the above comment made was to address this quote... ... ..... and yes DSS woked wonders for my rig too!

!!

I have a 2001 4x4 and have installed lukes link on everything I could trying to solve the wonder and poor handling. Well it didn’t work so I took it to a local suspension shop and they looked at it and said it must be the trac bar or the steering box, I was looking at the solid steel products and was wondering if here would be any conflicts with a kore kit because that is next after taking care of the steering problems, I have herd of other products ripping holes in the front diff cover!!!!

I've got the DSS and 3rd gen trackbar on mine, works good. Only thing I would do different is buy his adjustable trackbar if I was you. No rubbing with the stock 3rd gen. and stock diff. cover.

Does anyone have the Mag-Hytec front cover on a Gen2 (99 2500 4x4)? No rubbing as advertised???

I didnt see an offering on his website for an adjustable gen 3 track bar. ??

tnx

Interested here too, can you run the 3rd gen track bar conversion (adjustable one preferably) and a mag-hytec cover on a 2nd gen truck with no issues. I want to do the 3rd gen conversion, but i'm not giving up the mag hytec to do it.

Solid Steel

Is my favorite product line to sell. By NO means our fattest margins, but by FAR our lowest return rate :D VERY near ZERO. I'd have to do the math, but WELL under 1%. NO other product line even comes CLOSE. This is with a

SATISFACTION GUARANTEED policy. The 3rd gen. track bar conversion DOES work with the Mag-Hytec front cover. Whether you opt for the non adjustable DNT or the adjustable DAT. No personal experience here yet with Kore Products in conjunction with Solid Steel stuff, but we've had feed back that it fits, & feedback that it doesn't. I believe only 1 of each, so that ain't much feed back. The list of Dodge dealers we ship Solid Steel products to is continually growing

I had some seriously bad steering on my truck. First I had the box replaced 2-3 times under warranty cant remember exactly but the last time I installed the DSS and it helped, I also got rid of the stock 245 michelin's and replaced with 285's that helped and then add a lukes link to the trac bar, it helped, replaced the steering stabilizer shock, it helped some more, then replaced the trac bar with adjustable Solidsteel and put d25's and bilstein shocks on and wow, I can drive down the road with one finger no more constant correction, also added a steering alignment and longer control arms. The truck drives like it supposed to straight with no constant adjustment ot keep it in the lane.

Solidsteel products are worth the money spent.

Thanks Rip!!

Dave :)
