Attention: TDR Forum Junkies I just bought my wife a Dakota QC 4WD at my favorite dealership. I had researched the purchase and downloaded the Maroney and Invoice info so the Salesman was just a technicality.
My Saleman must have slept through his sales orientation.
Here's the Fun, he showed us some new Dakota's, and then said, "The six (V6) is Turbo so it really puts out", boy was he shocked when he couldn't find the Turbo under the hood of the little Dakota, but he recovered well. "Its internal so you don't have to adjust the turbo belt"
And the the new "14" Brakes are great, they really stop this truck now. They are great for hauling loads, it will pull 23000 pounds now you know" He sure looked puzzled looking at the rear disks (drums).
And when he started it, he remarked, " boy, this is really quiet, isn't it?"
