So here I am, I've done a #8 fuel plate, advanced timing to 16degBTDC, 370 injectors, BHAF, BH tail pipe... and I'm happy! The truck runs great, feels like an ox and runs like a cheetah. What I was hoping was for some advice on some of the little things you guys know that can fine tune this fine machine. My profile about covers what I've done. My gears are 4:10, forgot that one.

Yesterday, I put a foot into her and she ran up to about 95mph in the blink of an eye but my EGT was going past 1300deg and not looking like it wanted to stop, so I backed off. With a stock compressor and 14cmWG exh turbo, what do you think I should limit the EGT to?

A couple things I've heard about: AFC spring kit, the governer lever adjustment, the "smoke adjustment" screw, and just where to put that fuel plate! Right now I got her pretty much at stock position, maybe a hair forward. BTW, that Banks plate is IDENTICAL to the #8 Bosch plate.

I went and talked a bunch of crap to a buddy of mine about how I was gonna tear his ass up at the track in his little MG with a six cylinder Mazda engine. Now I need to make good. Please help me, and the good Cummins name, save face!

Thanks again guys, hope to hear from ya!
