The Airhorn Question about where'd Ja Put 'Em? (sorry for only having 100 PSI handy just inflated a basket ball and a small bike tire. )

As for the TC saver, i thoufgt this would be good so as I drive I can SEE when the TC locks up and make adjustments easily to suit.

What kind of compressor is that and how big is the air tank?

<font color=blue>James, Dude gotta call ya Full instrumentation now on the pillar.
JEFF QUADE The comp is a "firestone" with the Hadley name on it. The small tank is a "ballast" tank that is 2. 5 gallons and I have a 15 gallon custom 8" round tank waiting for me that was brandy new when it came off a Mack dump that rolled down a hill.
I need to het a continous duty (100%) duty cycle compressor if I am going to be using my 3/4 inch impact gun or constant running sander more in the field (lags on decks and large light poles, Lug nuts, large air demanding projects) Right now I can buzz off a set of lugs with the 17. 5 gallons i have now (including the custom tank in the waiting) but the compressor I have will burn eventually. www.extremeoutback.com

Thanks for the pics of the pan. I don't feel so bad now that I bought the single depth pan over the DD. What is the difference in transmission temps before and after with the DD pan?

-Ryan

Ryan, I did not have a guage before the pan addition. (+ I have the Dtt mods 93TC and VB) I now proudly hold 20 (5 Gallons) quarts of Amsoil ATF. I hover around 125*

TTT , thanks for the idea , i have been trying to figure out where to mount my TC saver , i like the idea of it being where i can see it do its thing , not that i'm looking at the floor very often at warp speed .

went to the track the other nite , 14. 79 @89. 88 mph and i let off at the 1000 ft mark and got back in it ... i think a lo 14 is in this thing without slicks #ad

Looks good, tool man, but be warned, I just received a "mini-me2" of my own. Looks like there's a new Sheriff in town, son, and I'm gunning for you #ad
. How about we hook bumpers, with a piece of yarn, LOL, and see who's the heartbreaker and lifetaker 'round these parts.

Scott W.

I know we have discussed this before on nerf bars, but isn't it kinda dangerous to have a pressure vessel right behind the bumper? TTTMT, I do like your install and have been thinking about getting the same compressor. I just have to worry about safety things since I do that at work. Ok, I'll shut up now.

Scott, <h3>Dualling</h3> Mini~Me's ... . (sheesh that was bad) Hmmm The Mini~Chanel may happen if thing's get good. I have a Side Splitter in the works now!
jwgary We (a few guys with nothing better to do one night) gave a test to the EXACT same tank (custom jig using a porta power) and gave it 100psi and launched a brick at it to simulate impact from a car's bumper and the sudden decompression showed no sighns of "fragmenting" (Stupid and dangerous test I must say myself)the tank simply Split at the weakest point (not on a seam odly enough) and with small volume there should not be a concern..... HOWEVER go with a single 20 gallon and ..... BOOM! Storage in small cubic feet of storage should not be a threat..... > although I can't garrantee that.

Mopar-muscle,
I love driving that thing..... Full-on work out on the smile muscles #ad
From the sound alone out of it! 14's gotta be Easy with the leather bound limited edition. Are you running full hot PE the whole 1/4 mile worth of EGT meltdown? 14. 0's (C'Mon squeak out a 13. 98 for me ON slicks and no lettin' off) All kidding aside WOW! I guessed the truck at 15. ?? *Low* (Ask Amy) when you were down here on the Dyno day!

What is the switch for in front of the TC Saver? What about the switch in the cupholder? How were the wires run in the cupholder? What brand of switches were used?

I am looking for switch locations for some auxilary back-up lights.

stg2500, Hey guy Welcome to the TDR Didn't see ya before (another CT Man #ad
) <font color=blue>Not being biased guys, just happy to see another from the "Silent TDR State"</font> The TC saver Controlls When Lockup happens and Unlock and at what Throttle Position at which it happens. The "Switch in front of it" is the L. e. d for the Alarm. The Switch in my Cup holder Came from the State of ct D. O. T Police light bar switch(Very hard to come by) Napa heavy industrys has 'em and carrys a 40 Amp rating (Perfect for sending "line"voltage far didtances for a relay) that drives my air compressor. I kinda advise against that install (Although I did it cleanly) it hampers the fold up operation of the cup holder (Used #10 wire)

Keep your eyes peeled for another CT,MA,ME,VT,NY,..... Aw heck North East event that might happen in JUNE (Working on some venues now as a matter of fact) The last meet was a success so hey full throttle ahead!?

Has anyone installed the Extreme air endless air compressor on a 2nd gen Cummins? If so, where did you set up the belt system?

Matt in AZ

tim , i hit the 14. 94 ( 18. 48 stock) water mark last season , full speed ahead for a 13. 99 sec time slip this season , getting it with slicks should not be a problem . the latest run was with the PE in level 2 (preliminary testing shows i can make a pass in level 3 with same egt results, will find out next wednesday ) . i lifted because of operator error not EGT , it will usually hit 1500 at the 1000ft mark , i don't lift for temp, at that point only another 2-3 seconds before i am out of the throttle . i'll be running down to english town next weekend , possibly slicks in tow .

John, I wanna Go but I have been Securly anchored to the gang~Box this weekend... . DOH!! Let me know how ya make out (Saturday's Weather @ Englishtown may be Shady + - )

Hers my Mag-hytec diff cover. I am extremly pleased with this. it is now as easy to change the diff fluid as motor oil. the cover has the dipstick which is magnetic so you can continuosly drag any metal out of the fluid. holds 8 qts and I love it!
