First of all thanks for all the helpfull hints that everyone has posted on installing Gauges on the 3rd gen TD. Besides the help on line the instruction that Geno's Garage supplied where also very helpfull. Here are a couple of more suggestion that I have for installing the Autometer boost gauge. The main problem that I was having is installing the "boost bolt". After removing a M10 bolt from the intake manifold that was marked in the instructions from Geno's I had problems fitting the supplied boost bolt into the position of the M10 bolt. The boost bolt that is supplied from autometer is a 3/8-27 thread bolt. I measured the thread before I looked online what the specific drill size one needs to thread it properly. Turns out that the hole that is on the intake manyfold is large enought to thread with a 3/8-27 die and the boost bolt fits snug in place. It is essential not to overtorque the boost bolt because it is made out of softer material than the intake manifold and leaks may occor. I hope this tid bit of information will make the process of installing the boost gauge a little easier. The next project will be the EGT gauge. Will keep everyone posted on that one.
