Fass pump pressure

Clutch comparison

Yes I only gained 20 horse with the box but I also have a mad ecm which the way I understand it is the mad ecm also does fueling kind of like the box therefore your not going to gain as much with the box on.

Would you test the redline without the mad ecm??? I am thinking of buying one, but with those dyno results I am having second thoughts...

I guess I need to get back on my dyno and do some more testing without the fueling box on... .

Yes I am going to do that when I get some time and a ecm I sent mine off to get programed. What are you thinking of buying a mad ecm or redline?

I was going to to ditch my old three wire Blue Box and pick up one of those redline boxes. But from what I have seen on dyno is that the edge drag comp will make almost 125 RWHP.

On a stock truck all the fueling boxes are going to make 100 horse plus but on a truck with every mod possible a fueling chip doesnt do as much. For example 01ho (Jermy homeyer) made 502 drag comp off and 538 with it on. And this was before he or I had the mad ecm now his difference is even less than that.

Those are awesome injector only numbers!! Give us some details please.

Justin, FWIW, my drag comp made 166hp at 36psi. The twins help that though.

Thats a huge increase. What were your final dyno numbers???

The guys that were dyno-ing your truck were inexpeirenced in dyno-ing a diesel, they didn't hold the brake and build boost before the pull...

Justin, without the comp it made 314hp. With the comp on 5X5 it made 480hp at 36psi. EGT's were 1350. I had the wastegate set at 40psi. Getting this wastegate set up is a chore. I can bury my 60 psi gauge in about a millisecond. I think the 2. 5's have ALOT left in them the way it feels. I am new to this wastegate business, so it's taking me a little bit.

Bob, Thanks. I don't let it get too me. I'd be a basket case if I did. I've had more than my fair share of stuff taken from me. I'll admit, I'm not the smartest guy around, but I'm willing to learn, and willing to teach.

As far as the Redlin box making only 20HP... With injectors that big, and the ECM... It's not going to make that much more power,, in fact,, 20HP sounds good to me. Bigger injector lines, and bigger connector tubes would make more HP too.

Two things I did notice about the Redline Chart.

1. 4,000RPM From a 24V!!! WHOO-HOO

2. Look how rough the chart is after 3,500RPM, it appears to have 20HP spikes untill 4,000RPM.

Maybe the Redline box was at 100% *RPM* and not the 100% *Fueling* ? Seems like only a 20HP gain might be a little low, unless the smoke was excessive (Way overfueled)

Any video of the dyno runs?

I will be making a dyno run very soon with some of JRS injectors and am planning on about the same #'s. Keep up the good work Ray. Some people dont beleive anything unless they see it. It will also be injectors only with some of JRs toys. Keep up the good work JR and Ray!!
