Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Someone in Erie,PA area to Jig my KDP

Hello everybody, I am looking for someone to do the jig fix for the KDP on my 95 ctd. I can help, but I dont want to attempt the job by myself. I have an indoor warm place to work on it avaible. I know Blakers is the keeper of the jig in my area and lives not 15 min from me. I want to get this taken care of in the next few weeks as the truck has a 3 month warrenty from the dealership where I got it from, I am the second owner, I know who even owned it before me. But as far as I can tell the KDP has not been killed yet. Thanks and I cant wait to get to know more from everybody here. Cheers Mike T

I am in portage county ohio. I have done one on my 97 and helped on a couple others. Erie is not that far from my place. Just let me know when is the best time for you. I have the weekends off and get off work at 4:30. let me know. It is not hard to do. It might take about 30 to 45 mins.

Thats for sure! dont want those little metal rascals getting in the engine. She runs good, but you can tell that it has been babied or not run alot for the last several years, it gets better the more I drive it. Just have to figure out the squeaking in the front axle when in 4wd.

Sounds good, I have the whole weekend off this week, been working saturdays for several weeks. Let me know when you would like to get together. Also how much do you want to help me do this job. Money is tight, but I have plenty of food and beer. I can grill out burgers and fries. The indoor part depends on the weather, its at our voluteer fire dept, if the weather is crap the chief wont let us put a truck outside, but it looks to be decent this weekend, or whenever your avaible let me know at I will figure something out. OK, I wont know till wed if I have to work on Saturday, but I will be free on Sunday. Have fun with the little lady. After buying this truck we dont have a lot of spare cash so this valentines day will be low key for my wife and I. I cleaned up here GMC truck last weekend, dinner by candle light and a bubble bath should do just fine Cheers and Thanks Mike
