I was having problems with my fuel gauge so I dropped my fuel tank to change the sending unit. Well that's where the problem started. The tank slipped off the jack and I snapped the plastic piece off that the suction and return line hooks onto. :{ The lines and fitting themselves are fine but I need the piece that fits down through the gromet on top of the fuel tank. I went to the local Dodge place and they told me I had to buy the whole in-tank fuel pump. I need to know if anyone has the Dodge part # for this piece as well as the screen that goes on the bottom of the fuel pickup.

The attached is a generic drawing of the fuel module - used in the Parts Manual to identify both diesel & gasoline fuel module parts. What part numbers do you want to know about?

I'm not sure if 9 or 10 is the bottom piece that snaps on and includes the screen, but I probably need both. It looks as if 4 is the fuel feed so I need that for sure.

If you broke what I think you broke I would not go with a stock assembly. Take a look at the Vulcan Performance Draw Straw, you can see the cost on the web site. Good business to deal with.

A TDR Draw Straw Thread

There are a few other options. The Glacier Diesel Pick-Up Tube, I don't have one on my truck. But a good place to do business for sure.

Your service counter should be able to pull up the drawing I attached above. It looks as though the screen is not serviced. P/N 4798825AB has likely been superceded by P/N 4798825AC. It's fairly spendy.

4 FILTER, Fuel Pressure Regulator
P/N 4798825 (Gasoline)
P/N 4798825AB (Diesel)

9 FILTER, Fuel, Serviced in Module, (NOT SERVICED)

10 SEAL, Fuel Pump and Level Unit 52018808

I would have no problem going with the Draw Straw. The filter was in such bad shape it literally fell apart when I touched it. So since that part is not serviceable do I have to buy the whole assembly listed as #1 in the diagram?

I haven't checked availability but it will not be available for long since the new set-up has gone to the in tank pump. If you were local to me I could save a take off. Just not able to ship a fuel dripping part easily ;)

Ive got an OEM unit on my shelf that has a new fuel level sender installed less than 2000 miles before removal for the in tank LP update. I would sell mine for 100 shipped.

My Suggestion is to install the intank pump

The best location for a pump is in the tank. The old system is restrictive tends to pull air. Its very difficult to improve the fuel delivery system leaving the old design module in place.
