I used to race a 83 K-car with the 2. 2 Almost stock. I do not know what it could run the quarter mile in, but I could take almost anything that wasn,t blown or didn't have a well tuned big-block. In two years that car went through three transmisions. It used to be a blast beating Real Hot Rods with a four door square box. I got $300 for it on a trade in back in 89.

My "elderly" parents had one of them several years ago and I had some fun with it. I don't think it would run 12's but I did manage to surprise a few people. Those little blown 4's would run as long as they would stay together.

Not nearly as much fun as the Ram, though.

I think the whole thing's hilarious as I plan to do something similar with a Jeep Cherokee. I'm collecting the parts to put a tweaked Buick Grand National 4. 1L V6 in a Cherokee. With AWD it should be pretty quick.
