Something different on a 1st gen Dodge..

Had them sitting in a box for awhile, honeycomb grille inserts from a '95 Dodge Ramcharger from Mexico, don't think they look to bad! What do you think?



Wanted to add something different to the dodge. .

Also, I've never seen a 2nd gen Ramcharger, but after a quick Google search, I want one!!

I guess it's a 1gen ramcharger from '81-93 US, they produced them until 95-96 in mexico, and they used a different grille than the US ones. I think they call the "newer" ramcharger 2nd gen? Like the '94up US Rams? I dunno.



They are an exact fit on the '93 older US Dodge pickups. 4 mounting screws. I'll have to get the Chrysler Part#s off of them and you guys can search out if there is a stash somewhere. .



Here's a pic or two of one, they also had rear window wipers on them, with different rear door panel also.

As for the truck, uuuuh, I was almost 100% sure the body style switched over in Mexico too. 2nd gen ramchargers look like the 2nd gen ram short box short cab with box cover.

Wonder when they did the change then. This is what I thought came into Mexican market in 1994 but apparently not!

Ya, that body style you posted started in 1999, the 1st gen was produced until 1998. They did use the "newer" steering wheel and some other odds and ends on the '98 older rigs, stuff that you would have found on the '94up US trucks. Kinda neat!

Here's a better pic of the grille, I think it's a semi flat black which I think is just right.



Also a pic of the "euro" lites from the DodgeBoys I think, so far noone likes them here but something different again!
