Something don't feel quite right inthe brakes

My brakes don't seem quite right. Their isn't much force on the pedal till around half travel, then it's stiff. If I apply the brake hard, the brake light and the antilock light come on. Sometimes the lights will stay on when I let off the pedal. If I tap the brakes, the lights go off. The resevoir is full and hasn't been going down any.

Don't know about the first part, but I have had the lights come on before like that. I adjusted the rears and they worked better and the lights stayed off.
