Bicycle crash on Wednesday

Cute - CLEAN joke.....

Just got back from the urgant care. Greight pain pills. I got my right thumb into the saw blade on the table top saw. Cut it parell to the finger nail, beneath the bone, back to the first joint. I did a no no, reached across to bump the fence with it runing. 50 years ago my dad told me to never to do that. He was right. My nick name fits agin. BAB BOB

dang... i haven't been bit bad by a table saw [i had a tiny nip taken off a finger once] but i have had my cordless makita 6. 5" circular saw bite me a few times. . all have been when using it with the blade guard disabled doing overhead cutting. . everytime it seems to like to bite my right hand ring finger. . i have 2 scars on the tip that overlap and a small area right there that has no real feeling anymore [i am right handed, but had to use the saw with my left ]

That's amazing! I wonder if they make a hammer that can do that?:-laf

Oh, if they could make a hammer that wouldn't hit flesh... .

I hate to admit it, but I hit myself in the bridge of the nose with my big Estwing framer. I was up on a ladder and forced a board into a window opening and it went out on one end a bit. So there I am, on top of a ladder, swinging a hammer back towards me... (until I missed :{)

My nose hurt for years after. I never went to the hospital for it because I worried they'd send me to the Psych ward.

The stuff to numb it probably hurt more than the saw did. Hang in there.

BAD BOB here. The surgan told me my finger would really hurt, said to pick my perscription right away and to get started on the pain pills. I took one as directed and havent used another. My thumb is cut from the end almost to ther first joint. Both sides. Now that should hurt like heck. I can touch all around the banage and feel contact, strange. Not complaning. I went in this morning and they inspected it and rebanaged and are going to leave stitches in for 10 more days. I am going to have an ugly thumb, but at least i still have one. That will learn me, maby.
