The M16/AR15 is a weapon made to kill people with. It blows the body it hits apart. Shoot a deer with one and there is very little meat left that is eatable. Enforce the laws on the books, stress responsibility and accountability (including MA rated video games, parents), and take firearms
away from Democrats who seem to have the biggest problem with them, and commit 95% of the mass murders. Failing that, I just go

That is pretty funny! Could you please link to the statistics that show the political leaning of mass murders. Most do not seem bright or educated enough to know a Republican from a Democrat.

When they discover a way to prevent people from killing other people.

Back to the weapon of choice for mass murders. Why does anyone need one, including my brother who has an AK47 and SKS? Just for the record, I have a 38 cal pistol, which is next to my bed. Got rid of my long guns over the years. Had a carry permit for years, however only carried when dry camping in remote areas. Had weapon training in the military, we had M16's and one 12ga riot gun on the USCG Loran Station in Thailand 1966-67 during the SE Asia War, also incorrectly known as the Vietnam, as much if it occurred in Laos and Cambodia with staging from Thailand.

Do you with your small carry weapon want to face someone with an AR15, body armor and multiple high capacity clips. Cops sure do not want to do that, and they wear vest all the time. What do you think your chances are of taking out a mass murdered before he kills you and multiple others?

I live in IL with one of the most strictest gun owners requirement in the nation. All legal gun owners most apply for a F.O.I.D. ( Firearm Owners Identification card) every five yearswith a fee. Yet we have one of the highest murder rates in the Nation. Why? Because people are not taught to respect a weapon and what a pistol or rifle bullet will do to a human body and no one wants to take responsibility for the mess in Chicago. Instead the party in power calls for more gun laws and reduce the police powers in the city. Earlier this week caught on police dash cam camera, a running gun battle down the city streets between a person who had stolen a car to commit a gangland slaying of another person, with the police. Yet our wonderful news media says nothing on this subject just reporting on how the police responded.
You wantto reduce the murder rate! Bring back Capitol Punishment and enforce it.

We live in a strange society. We coddle the criminal and share little remorse at times for the victim. (He/she shouldn't have been
there; it's their own fault; what were they thinking ?, etc.). The convicted felon goes to jail to get three hots and a cot, free medical
treatment, an education (probably a PhD in Criminal Violence), free health club, and the latest movies and color TV. Did I forget time
off for 'good' behavior? As long as he is bisexual he couldn't have it any better. When he is released many go back into a culture
where they are looked up to for having served time. They enjoy a better life while in the big house than many of our men and women
in uniform. Where is the so called justice in this?

If you suspect that our society is becoming more violent, than you must admit that the penalties for doing the crime are not being
administered and carried out in a swift and just manner. English Common Law specifies among other things that you are to be judged
by your peers in a timely manner. It also specifies that an English barrister (attorney) cannot knowingly misrepresent the truth while
defending his client. Hmm.....need I say more?

I'm thinking you mis-spoke about that 2/3's of all people are killed by guns.

What happened to the times when someone didn't like something, they simply ignored it or didn't buy it? A store down in the valley I buy fuel from offers a gay magazine for sale. I don't like seeing it, but I don't try to get it removed from the shelf. I simply. ignore it. It's pretty clear that Sno doesn't like AR15's (not M16) and other various firearms. Okay fine, Sno doesn't own or purchase those firearms; pretty easy.

What I don't get is the ideology that if guns or certain types of guns are removed from the public, that people will magically quit killing other people..... People have always killed people and always will and they will use any means necessary to complete their rage. It's only a matter of time before bomb use increases and will not be able to comfortably sit and enjoy a meal in public without the fear of someone detonating an explosive and killing or injuring hundreds more people than any mass shooter could ever do on his own. So then how do we prevent that? Ban any and all types of components and ingredients that can make a bomb....... copper wires, switches, circuit boards, acids? Where do we stop???????

One thing for certain is creating a cure for a symptom is not going to stop anyone from killing another human being.

You're cracking me up Sno. Again, you read too many news papers and watch too many Hollywood movies. How is that you feel a .223/5.56 round is any more lethal than a 30.06 or 7m or any other round? Do other non .223 rounds simply bounce off people? Your argument is invalid.
