OH THANKS D4L I will have to thank sarj for your instruction. I dont always wear a shirt around the place but as much beer as I drink and food that I eat I DONT HAVE A BEER GUT like that guy and no self respecting cowboy tucks there pants in the boots any longer get to much CRITTER CRAP down your boot.

It was fun Gman took my mind off things to come for awhile and had some interesting conversations with people that we didn't even know until last nite and have become friends with them. One of the band members asked where I learn to play guitar? I told him South East Asia he called over another band member and he served in the same squadron as I and shared memories of the time he to learn to play but only in a bunker in SEA both of us have no musical training but just bang away and hope other catch up. :-laf



I just looked back and haven't told ya the song was BIG IRON it went over pretty big but the girl singer that won was wearing a SUPER SHORT SKIRT how am I suppose to compete with THAT!!!!!!. HELL I EVEN VOTED FOR HER :-laf:-laf

DL4 its all good fun ,its a totally different place up here than in So Ca yer not afraid to say something on your mind up here in Ca it would either get ya killed or in a lawsuit or at the very least get hit with SOME GUYS PURSE :-laf

Speaking of Cali I heard on a talk show on my sirrius radio that theyre (California) is about to tank. Turns out all the humanity laws and tree huggers are makin the state go for broke and people are bailing by the day. Shoot, I thought the entire state consisited of movie stars and pot smokers :-laf I never knew there was common everyday folk livin there like myself :D What was your reason for moving BIG (other than the obvious that Montana and Wyoming gotta be 2 of the prettiest, most unpopulated states in the lower 48)?

That was a big part of it just to get away from the CITY!!! I had a home on 5ac in Ca before we got married. The Wife is from where we live now. She was 20yr old when she was starry eyed over some long haired So Ca boy with his own truck and not much of a life. Dated her for a year she took a few road trips with me back to Ca (that if her Dad would have known about we wouldn't be having this talk) At 20 everything is wrong with where your at and the BIG CITY with all the glamor/dinner places/shows/and the biggest body of water the gal had ever seen. She was ready to move. The money was great working for a major oil company making 100k as a driver and her working at the school dist. making 60K we made some wise choices on buying some more homes and getting rid of them just before the I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER hit the fan and some other investments that her Dad influenced us on we did QUITE WELL. Really So Ca did us good but I had,had enough of working with the public and she also found out that there are some pretty messed up people in So Ca. The place got to be to much for the 4 of us by then. We bought our 35 acres from her brother and little by little we started to build on it so when the time came we could move back to her home state and we did when the oil company I worked for got rid of the drivers about 3 years ago. So Ca has its problems (Please dont anyone tell Harvey)but the Liberal Democrats and tree hugging Morons messed this place up BIG TIME. Every one that didn't want to pull their weight by working DIDNT HAVE TO because they could get a free ride with all the handouts. Well they are paying for it NOW.

I have listen to that 4 times and got one HELL of a kick out of it, the wife came into the den and asked whats so funny? I put it on the sound system and turned it up so she could hear EVERY WORD. She went and got my guitar and said lets do it ,thats about how it is around our place. It will be fun when we are out at hunt camp with friends and family and we have our go-round sing where everyone sings no exceptions good or bad ,Penny and I will cut loose with that i'm sure all will agree IT'S US FOR SURE.

My lady has lots of Italian family on both her parents side. Going to a family get together is like a scene straight out of a god father movie -oh yeah and if I tried to take without asking nicely first Id be picking my teeth up off the the sheets :-laf
 
Not any different here D4L her family are Blackfeet Indian. And I WAS NOT HER DAD'S idea of what his Daughter was supposed to want/need or desire. But we dont get to make that choice, lord knows she could have done A WHOLE BUNCH BETTER. But she knows without a doubt that NO ONE COULD LOVE HER MORE. I suspect yours is the same. ;)

That song in camp was A HIT!!!!! The wife and I got our chance after everyone had, had a few and we cut loose on that song the next camp is about 5 or 6 miles away and we see them from time to time going to hunting fields and they asked WHAT WAS SO FUNNY!!!!! they could hear us laugh that far away. Thanks for the HIT.
