Just thought I would tell your fellows what happened to sons 99. He was having a problem with air coming out of his cap when he went to put fuel in. One part of the tank where the rear strap goes around it had collapse some. His rollover valve had dirt in it not letting it vent air. Pressurize the tank some to check it and its venting air. He drove it to work yesterday and when he took the cap off there was no air coming out. Looks like it is fixed. So if you get air coming out your cap you might check the rollover vent. Just wondering if vent being clogged up can cause any problems with the lift pump. He had to change lift pump several thousand miles back. Last time he changed his fuel filter could not get it to start and had to crack injector to bleed it before it started. I guess he will find out next time he changes fuel filter.
