But seriously, CJ, do you have the schematics on that manifold basket? I think the wife is onto me already. She is making me transfer all the loose funds I had hidden into the family account. Anybody know where I can get some kennel rations bulk?
Well, no, I don't have any ready made plans for this, you just need to be creative and use what you have lying around! Besides, you might want to make a few different configurations, depending on what you want to cook. For instance, a grill is nice when, say, you get cut off from the $$ so much that even the canned dog food is out of your range, or, maybe you just want a change of pace, you can go out and get some of that ever-present, readily available, fresh meat... Roadkill
Small species such as most dogs, cats, 'coons, and possums fit reasonably well whole, just toss 'em on the ol' manifold barbie and you're good to go. An added benefit, for those greasy 'coons and possums, the grill allows the excess grease to drip off, leaving you with a tasty, lo-cal (as well as local) meal (just make sure it's not a skunk

).
For your larger specimens, deer, elk, Great Danes, etc. , well, that's why you have a bed on that pickup! Just throw the whole thing in the bed and slice off a hunk whenever you get hungry. Place on manifold as before.
In all seriousness, I have actually done this! It works great for heating up that left over pizza, hot dogs and sausages work well too. Wrapping in aluminum foil helps distribute the heat more evenly. Just don't forget about your food, it's rather easy to burn stuff this way

Oh, and if it's not too bumpy, a can of beans or chili works well too. Just be sure to poke a few holes in the top, a bean-bomb isn't exactly what people are talkin' about when they mention bombing your engine...
