How cool you can trace your families back so far. Best I can tell my great grandparents were mutts from Arkansas and the Oklahoma panhandle.

My wife is into geneology. She did the research and got lucky enough to link up with someone who had already done a lot of the heavy lifting. ;)

Same with me. I've got a cousin who has 800 pages of documents and is still roaming graveyards looking for more relatives. Thank God, for her, that Europe is on the other side of alot of water or she would be over there.

I'm still trying to figure out why you guys boycott France but not Germany, Russia and the 123 countries that opposed the war in Iraq including Canada and Mexico.

I'm wondering what is going to happen with this boycott business when the politics change and the U. S. is best friends with the Frence and mad at the British.

I was just posting the list to show people how many companies are actually French. I don't boycott any of them, heck i work for a very large French oil field service company, boycotting any French company would be pointless since I work for one. Maybe I ought to go to work the other Big oil field service company, the one that is charging the US gov $1. 75 a gallon for gasoline that its paying $. 06 a gallon for in Iraq. They are stealing our tax dollars from us and we picked them to do it with out a competitive bid.....

Alright, you clowns, this is America- speak Spanish!

They aren't stealing our tax dollars, they are being given to them with a wink and a nod from the Oval Office and what ever shape the office is for the VP.

Oh yeah, I forgot those spine less Senators. They voted to give away 87 billion of your tax dollars today. They did it with a voice vote so no one could pin them down as to how they voted. If you ask one how he voted I am sure the answer will be to say it was NO.

You may want to know that,

Headquartered in Greenville, S. C. , Michelin North America (www.michelintruck.com) employs 24,640 and operates 22 plants in 18 locations.

I have no love for the French either but I need to go with the Michelin side on this issue.

It's pretty obvious what's going on when a provision on the bill authorizing the $87B that would have subjected those who deliberately defrauded the United States or Iraq to jail terms of up to 20 years and very high fines was cut.

The provision was supported by both the GOP and Demos but was nixed from the bill under pressure from the White House...

I personally can see only one reason to not have the provision and it's not ethical.
