Competition Custom driveshaft, who's the best?

Looking for a source for some much beefier "donuts" for the engine mounts to the frame for a 1997. This is really for my 1978 Crew 4x4 conversion - but thought it best to ask in this forum since you guys have to be shredding some mounts with the power you are putting down.

My problem is the entire drivetrain has about 3/4" of slop in it, even though I used the stock dodge mounts/donuts/perches for the engine and the stock dodge mount for the transfer case in the back (pictures in my readers's rigs). When I get on the pedal in 1st, the whole thing moves forward, and when I let off, it backs off again. You can see the issues - throttle cable shortens/lengthens, and clutch is hard to keep your foot at the same place, so she bucks pretty good. Mods to this engine are minor - tst #4 and intake are about it.

I was able to hook a come-along to the thing, chain it all down, and pull the slack forward for a test drive. I could watch the front donut on the engine mount compress at least 1/2" as I ratcheted the works down. The drive was WAY better. No chatter on the clutch, no moving throttle cable, and the shift levers for the transmission/transfer case where much more static in their positions.

Thanks for input on how to get these engines to stay put during power on. I suppose I could shave the front donut to 1/8" thickness, and shim the perch/cradle off the frame with steel plate. Figured it'd be cleaner and isolate noise better with an aftermarket neoprene or other solid solution.

thanks

jon.
