Coolant Question

3500 Gear Ratio change and Tow rating

I have a ‘15 3500 Longhorn and the other day after parking at the grocery, noticed the passenger mirror partially folded. I checked and it got hit and the chrome housing is cracked and scratched.

I know I could get insurance to buy new but last time I needed a mirror (many years ago), Mopar only sold them in pairs and of course I ended up paying for the myself through premium increases.

So, I thought if I can find a replacement, I would replace it myself and save the insurance boost for something big.

I have seen single aftermarket mirrors on eBay but I can’t tell if they are going to be a cosmetic match.

Anyway, sorry for being long winded...

I hesitate to mention searching your local Craigslist or junk yard.

I bought some folding tow mirrors for my 12 from 1AAuto and about the only bad thing is they shake like the earth is falling apart when flipped up. I have since gotten much better at just leaving them down when towing or pretty much all the time. Hell, writing this I might as well switch to the sport mirrors and save some weight lol.

Looks like 330 - 350 for quality stuff.

225 mid range might have scratches.

There are some that need just the glass on there as well.

Of course there is a huge list of mirror types on there as well so depends on all the options you have.

Some have pics others not so much but the grades and issue codes are all there.

Unless someone had to buy 2 like mentioned above and has one hanging out.

Thanks! I see some worth calling about.

Many years ago I had my drivers mirror smashed when a school bus turned out of a side street and the mirror sticking out from the front bumper crossed the center line of the road. The dealer made me buy a pair.

My mirror is the expensive one... power folding, power adjusting, chrome, heated, turn signals and puddle lights. Whew, what a mouthful.
