I am running the 3850 12 button feramic and very happy with the streetabilty of it.

also what is the average sled pulling gear with the 3850 fb and the nv5600 4:10s and 33 inch half tread all terrains around 650 to 750 h. p. depending on eng parts availability

That clutch is very streetable. I have about 3000 mile on mine. A little graby in stop and go.

I almost went the feramic route but I figured it would be too grabby... Hows backing up a trailer?

I've got the South Bend 3850 CB 12 puck, and daily drive it without problems (or did, until fuel prices shot up). I've had no problems with pedal pressure, and actually it doesn't even feel heavy anymore after getting used to it.

Stop and go traffic is slightly cumbersome, but just something you deal with. It it starts lurching backing up, I've found revving slightly to 1,000 rpm or helps a bunch.

My 3600 dd 6 puck clutch is lurchy on the back ups and it is pretty gabby when starting. I am glad I didn't go with the 3850. It all depands how much power you need to pull. I pulled 13. 5 k in the PA mountains last weekend without turning the power down and had no slipage. IMHO the clutched ae under rated.

Well I Went Ahead And Ordered A Valair 3850 And Hydraulics, Got A Pretty Good Deal ,it Has The Bronze Inlaid Flywheel And Ceramic Buttons, I Was Told It Would Hold 850 H. p. I Have A Friend With The Southbend So I Guess I Will Give The Valair A Shot And See How I Like It
