i have a '07 5. 9L 3500 and after pulling to the desert this season i can tell that im not far away from needing to replace my dual mass boat anchor and clutch. i have been reading and think that my best choice is a SBC conofe where would i find the best price delivered to san diego, ca.

Source Automotive in Wa shipped a member's clutch to Lakeside for a good price. I drove an SBC 3250 DD locally. It has good manners, but a degree of neutral noise. I'd discuss it with Peter at SBC before deciding. He ships direct from the factory also. Fran's Transmissions in Lakeside did a good install for him.

Could do what I did when I bought my SBC. Look on their website and see if there is an installer in your area unless you are going to do it yourself. I paid $400 for the R/R and my truck was ready in under 5 hours. Four wheel drive will cost more of course.

I have no dealer near me so I called up Peter at SBC to discuss my options and he shipped a con ofe straight from his shop. Love the clutch. Pulls my RV so much differently than the stock one. Pete was a bang up guy to deal with, too.
