Just checking before i do any business. is this a good company and do they stand behind their product. my 05, 3500 needs everything from the throughout bearing to the preasure plate. any imput would be appreciated. norton.

SBC has excellent products with excellent customer service.

Peter and his crew go out of their way to make sure that you are satisfied.

They have been know to replace clutch parts under warranty where failure was do to installer or user error, not manufacturing.

All that being said, it is VERY IMPORTANT to choose the right clutch for your application and driving style, or you may not like what you get. They are adept and helping you choose the right clutch for your truck if you call them.

Peter spent 1/2 hour on the phone with me last year helping me to pick the right clutch set, even though I had won it on TDR and he donated it.

If you do a quick search here on SBC, you will ALOT of corroboration of the above opinions!!

I am very happy with my SBC Con OFE! Took about 2 tows, 500 miles, and 2 WOT runs to break in, now its smooth and quiet.

Great product and support. I've had the ConO in my 2000, ConOFE in my 2005, and soon to have a dual disk in my 2007. On the 2000 my pilot bearing went bad about 30K into the clutch... they sent me a new pilot and throwout free. the OFE kit (g56) came with a big pilot bearing and it lasted about 60 K and died. That seems to be the weak link. On the 2005 i had removed my power goodies and sold the truck to a friend of my sister and ended up replacing the clutch with a ConO at the same time it was out to get a new pilot bearing. The ConO is much easier for stock power & towing. SB got me in touch with a good installer and gave me a pretty good deal on a new clutch disk/pilot/throwout.

As others have said there is no better! I have sold and installed many SB clutches and have NEVER had a problem of any kind from Peter or any of his people. They are hands down the best in the business. They also put a lot of time and money in supporting ANY diesel related event.

I have worked with Very few companies that actually have customer service and stand behind their product. SBC does for sure. They are the ONLY company I work with or recommend when it comes to clutches.

Just bought mine this morning. Spoke on the phone with them for a while as they explained options and answered all the questions I had. There are a lot of people here as you can see that can attest to what customer service really is. Go for it!:)

They are a good company. I had a dd3600 clutch failure and they sent me a new clutch and money for the instal. The only other problems i have had is with the person that instaled the second cluch. Just make sure you use a qualified installer. Sb gave me a real good price on a core replacement clutch after i put 50k on the old one.

Excellent company to work with, I had my clutch installed at a shop right down the road from SBC and had many conversations with Peter and Manseil about the right one, on my way out of town I bough them both Hooters gift cards I was so happy with there excellent service.
