Just got my Con OFE put in over the weekend, and WOW. Pedal pressure is less than stock, it is a little grabby, but nothing to worry about. I can't believe how much my stock clutch was slipping. This thing really goes now, I can't wait to race my cousin's GTP again, (I beat him last time, too. ) Now to find funds for some EDM 1. 5's and a turbo upgrade. I want to thank Peter at SBC for the super fast service and the great product, and everyone here for all the info. Oo.

Glad to hear that clutch is working out. They make some of the best clutches (as far as I am concerned the best clutch) for our trucks. I wish you many miles and happy times with that clutch.

You know to take it easy on that clutch for around 200 miles of stop and go traffic to break it in, correct?

I just ordered my Con OFE. I can't wait till it gets here. I just had the fith gear nut fall off so I'm going to have the transmission out anyway. I bet it's really going to fly! I can't wait!!

Bryan,

Just out of curiosity, how long did it take you to do the install? I love my clutch, its like having another box stacked on. Oo.

Ryan

It was about 3 1/2hr taking it out. . ( I did the removal by myself. . ) I had some help installing the trany and Tcase. . about 3hr on the install... I also spent a lot of time when it was out on other little stuff. . Fushing the trany, new support bearings. . and other little things... You could easily do it in less. . I was just poking along... Everyone seems to complain about the crossover brace. . but my on 4x4 I didn't pull it out. . I just moved it back. . and turned it up...

I thought it was a gravey job. .

Eric. . I still have the tools out. . hahaa...
