Competition South Eastern Iowa Truck pull

Hey Guys

Trying to get some more diesels to come to Donnellson Ia the 10th of JULY. The pull will start at 5 pm, be there around 4 and all will be good. Rules can be seen here, http://leecountyspeedway.com/truck_pull_rules.htm

but notice they will let you pull this time with out all the saftey equipment. In June the pull was rained out and rescheduled for the next week. There was a good turn out of gassers and street diesels, but only one "hot rod" diesel that did not pull in the street class.



Please if you have an open Sunday come on out and pull. I don't have a smoker to pull, but i sure enjoy watching them and we want the diesels to catch on here in Iowa.

Where is this place from Des Moines?

Shows 183 miles. Straight south of Iowa City on 218, and almost to Missouri.

Hopefully the track won't be sticky again. Kind of fun to see the carnage, but DANG! Not the first 7 out of 8 (or so), out of the gate. That was crazy.



We'll see if I break anything tomorrow. First time to pull.

Better safe than sorry last year. Particularly with heading to Florida shortly after.

Bringing this back to the top. The time is 5 pm on the 10th, sunday of July. If you have a truck, smoker or gas bring it and there will be a class for it. I pulled in the June pull and it was a nice pull. Started around 7 pm and pulled to about 11:30 pm.



This pull is during their county fair so, come early and see the fair too.

Doubt it, as it would be my first time to hook. Don't need to run the risk of the off chance that I'd break something that far from home. I know you've got the trailer, but ... ... ... ... .
