I need a deal on one of these bad boys (or, suggestions on a replacement clutch for my 2009 G56 stock 6. 7 RAM). Any recommendations on either inquiry? Thank you in advance...

I used George @ www.8lugtruckgear.com. I got a slight reduction in price and he ships free. For my application I was talked out of the 3250 DD.
I'm carrying 2000# around all the time,34" tires and Smarty on sw#5. No dunes or 37's. So far ,so good.

I just spoke with a man named Jeremy at TDS performance. Said he had installed approximately 200 SB clutches in various Rams over the years. He recommended, for a stock truck, if it would remain stock forever, possibly going with the organic or organic HD clutch. However, if I could pony up about $300 more, that I could go with a dual disc style. I quizzed him pretty good during our conversation, and could really find now drawback to upgrading to the dual disc. Anyone on here have heart burn about going with a SB dual disc on a stock truck? I do plan to install a programmer and deletes, eventually (I have 12 more payments to make and 17,000 miles to go before the warranty expires), once those two things happen I am going to open her up. But I do not want to hurt her now, by going with overkill on the clutch here. I trust what Jeremy had to say, just looking for second opinions, and challenge, from anyone who has additional experience with SB clutches and the G56. Thanks again.

The DD I had (on 04. 5) takes some getting use to to drive. It was a bit harder to push too, and the style I had was real REAL noisy. I would think the single disk would be fine even with some mods. It worked great on the 08 I had.

DD are noisy, even the new quiet ones. If you don't mind the noise then have at it, but I didn't want to deal with it and went single.

For a STOCK truck I would get a G56-OK.

What makes the DDs so noisy? Could a change in transmission operating fluid help quiet the noise? Say from the stock ATF4 to a Penzoil Syncromesh or Royal Purple full synthetic (maybe even blend a little Lucas oil in there for some additional viscocity at high temps)? Thanks.

The middle plate will rattle with the clutch in at a stop light, and the gear rollover noise seems to be much greater on a DD, and the G56 amplifies the noise.
