2006 Dodge Ram 3500 CTD 48RE 4x4 question

Anyone use Perma Cool Engine Oil Cooler?

First - I'm not looking for something for nothing; however, I'm not too proud to turn down a discount.

I called Southbend today to inquire about my hydraulic assembly as the pedal has been acting up. Spoke w/ Woody and it sounds like that it's worth swapping out.

Question: Do TDR members usually get a discount?

Afew months ago I'm pretty sure Peter had given me a price of ~ $200. 00; now it's $250. 00 and they said they don't know anything about a TDR discount and Peter was out all day.

Once again; if it's $250. 00, that's what it is.

Just currious as I though I had seen something about TDR's getting a discount.

Steve,

I replaced mine a few months ago with a SouthBend. The price was what you were recently quoted. I was not told of any TDR discount and I the fact that I was a TDR member came up in the course of the conversation.

The slave cylinder is definately larger than the current "enhanced" version sold by the dealerships. The adjustment at the pedal is a great feature, however I haven't needed to adjust it yet.

Is the hydraulic assembly available for purchase directly through South Bend, or do I need to contact one of his dealers? It seems like I have to order a CON-OFE from the dealers instead of directly from South Bend.

My mistake - there is not a TDR discount, which is fine.

Like I said, i'm not looking for anything special - but, didn't want to leave anything on the table if it was available.

Went ahead and ordered an assembly direct from SB.
