rick peet dodge(diesels in december)dyno run videos

Pahrump is the "HUMP"

Too Cool!!!

That was the best event I've ever attended!! Like what was said, Brad at Waterous was the most help on the Dyno giving us the play-by-play for us first timers. I never felt bad putting the old girl (the only first gen there!!!!!:( )on the dyno as he was gentle, even after the command "Put 'er to the Wood!!!!"

Its just too bad the Duramax slipped out the back door before we could strap er down!!. . Weenie LOL!!!

All the Vendors that attended a big thanks,

South Bend Clutch

Deltek

Cochrane Ford

Cochrane Dodge

Piers Diesel REsearch

BD via GCL Fuel Systems

GSL Chev city

Unlimited Performance

CT Performance (sorry Rod itsCT not GT!!! )

Kwik Kurt Turbos

Performance Diesel

AFE air filters

Scotty Air systems

Diesel Dynamics

ANd a few I have not got a list of. .

I have to get a full list of the vendors and results from Scotty for posting and video files will be available in a few weeks at www.scottyairsystems.com

The event started with Scotty warming up the rollers to the tune of 370 RWHP@ 2800 RPM!!!! Pretty awesome considering there are No Electronic upgrades on that unit. Just a boost fooler, and thats it man! That wet the appetite for all.

Top three : JHansen 298 RWHP

Shawn. L. Turbo 279 RWHP

Andy 268 RWHP. .

Pretty impressive power, and an observation was that the most reliable and consistent power was from the those that had the EZE Edge products installed. The top 2 finalists had the Edge so to speak, Andy had the mechanical power and is pretty impressive in its own right, considering a brake stand to warm his truck up LOL...

Thanks to Marshall Ennis who hosted the event with his own video and audio equipment so we had cameras in the bay as well as video coverage of each trucks performance.

THe poor ol 93 just cranked out 201 RWHP at much lower RPMs, around 2400. . But stock is 160 FWHP so thats 70 Hp with just a few Pump "Tweaks" Now comes the serious mods. . LOL.

Twas very interesting to have a go at the dyno for the first time. As I suspected I need to get more cooling and bigger or less restricted exhaust.

Thanks to All that made this possible.

Thanks to Airdrie Chrysler who donated a shirt and have offered;

To all TDR members,

Net price on all parts

Fleet Rate on Shop Labour ( $65 per hour instead of $78) I have a letter listing this offer and would be happy to Fax to you.

Don the parts manager and Vern the Service manager are great guys and very helpfull.

Jim I'm sorry I never actually introduced myself to you-you may have met my Dad there though. Did you come with Andy? Next time you're in Airdrie Chrysler and talking to Don ask him if he remembers me from 1st year parts apprenticeship at SAIT many many moons ago... . he knows my brother too as he is the parts manager at Hanna Chrysler. Steve Forman, the assistant service manager, should remember me too-when he was in Drum we drank many many beers together :D

And I wouldn't hang my head at 201 horsies too badly there Lil' Dog-that's pretty close to that almighty PSD that Cochrane Ford brought... . in fact I think 201 is real respectable. When I came in I figured if I left with 250 I'd be happy-I just didn't want to embarrass myself!

Scott already e-mailed me about the summer sequel-I can't wait! My bank account is gonna hate me-need more BOMBs now!

Thanks again for a great time in the city.

Wait a minute.....

Hey Jason, you gave me a promotion!

I only placed third, not second.

JHansen, are you interested in one of those license plates?

I may be able to swing one or two more.

Those are completely custom painted from scratch by my brother in law who is an airbrush artist.

Anyone want some 275 injectors if I upgrade to DD2's???

It's already started... oh oh... .

Shawn

I'd love one of those plates. . but I don't have a front plate holder on my truck. It never did come with one-and now it would interfere with my front receiver hitch. But I could hang it on the wall maybe... ... yeah that's the ticket! I'd be worried about scratching it on the truck!

My 275's are going up for sale in the spring too-ever see the Simpsons episode where Bart says "I just got my first taste of authority-and I LIKED it!" Hot COMP on order already-injectors/turbo/fuel system crap/more exhaust stuff/and possibly a straightjacket  planned for the spring. Whaddya gonna do-gotta scratch the itch right?

Jason

Scott's cooking another one up as we speak....

Sounds like during Stampede time-should be a blast! My wallet should be emptied right out by then-now I'm just like an eggsucking dog-got the taste of it and the only way to make me quit is to put me down :D :D :D

Although looking at the dyno #'s that came out of Pahrump and Pocatello over the weekend makes me realize that barring the touch of God himself no matter how much $$$ I dump I'm still gonna be on the second squad of the Cummins Power Team... . but if I'm lucky I'll be able to call myself the most powerful truck around Drumheller anyways! :p

Jason

Sorry about the placings....

Ya I know, I was just going on memory as Scotty has the results in his hot little hands and doesn't want to share!!LOL.

I'm still buggin him for the "official" numbers for posting here.

The stampede event is going to be HUGE as we are going to have alot more backing than the last event... And that was amazing considering the time we put it together in.

Anyone interested in helping with this next event and forming the ALBERTA BOMBERS CLUB email me at Lil-dog

Thanks again to all, that was truely awesome!!!!
