I started a thread for the New England crowd. For sure, the plan is to leave at 7 AM, so let's pick a meeting point where we can park a lot of trucks and stop for lunch.

Matt

New Stanton (10 minutes from Andy's Shop) has Eat N Park, Bob Evans, Wendy's, or Quiznos?

or there's a ton of options another 45 minutes farther west on I-70 in Washington, PA. Texas Roadhouse, Ponderosa, Eat N Park, TGI Friday's, McDonald's, etc...

and a few others in between...

My stomache is growling already! and I just had lunch an hour ago... :D

Hey Matt,

Lets meet in New Stanton. That is where you guys will be getting off of the Pa turnpike and onto Route 70 West. That is where the Cracker Barrel was, that we ate at last year on the way home from Muncie...

Hopefully there won't be any cracked fuel lines to fix this year... :D

What do you think???

friday PA guys

you guys that cant leave till friday we are meeting at 8:30 in the a. m. at loves truckstop at the 160 exit in ohio on I-70. If any of you can make that group there are some guys meeting us there from WV hope some of you can make it.

This sounds good to me. Let's pick one spot to gather, a be there or left behind time, and finalize this.

This will give the ladies a chance to freshen up a bit, straighten their bloomers, and even eat some lunch.

Matt

Well, Andy said Cracker Barrel worked well last year on the way home, so if that's good with everyone else, let's make it Cracker Barrel.

It's in New Stanton at the intersection of I-70 and I-376 (PA Turnpike). After getting off the turnpike, I believe it's the first exit on I-70 West (very immediately). After exiting, turn left, go over top of I-70, then make the first right I believe and that will take you back to it... there should be signs.

Now, for the time... 1:00 sound good? The MASS boys will have to let us know what time they'll be coming through...

We should be arriving at New Stanton just about 1:00 PM, so that makes a lousy departure time if we plan on lunch. How about 2:00?

Matt

That should be perfect.

The only person we will be waiting for is Ob1kobi and he is leaving his house around 8:00am which should put him at my place around 1:00.

We'll see you all there...

i'm trying to get off work so that i can go. is there anyone leaving on friday? the only other problem is i didn't plan ahead and reserve a place to stay. is the walnutridge campground close?

Will

Jeff...

I will probably be out that way somewhere on I-70 and am going to try and make woodsrats convoy. I'll PM a cell number for you to reach me and see if we can hook up. I am not sure how far I will make it Thursday as I drive all nite Wednesday at work and don't get back to Harrisburg till about 8am Friday. I tried to get Thursday nite off, but, due to the Red Star Motor Express closure they(Overnite) aren't letting anyone off unless previously scheduled(I was told the only way you gett extra days off is to call in dead). Let me know..... Andy
