Just wondering what the impressions/results/experiences of anybody with the SP Diesels eliminator box was? Saw it at www.spdiesel.com and everything sounds great, with a great price. I haven't put one on the truck yet, and still investigating. Thanks in advance.

Wow, price seems cheap for 130hp - But the tq seems low

Hmm... Ashame they did not a few TDR guys beta for them

Without that, it is hard to say if this a good module or not

Hey Tom,

Thats what I was thinking, and the more expensive ($319) Eliminator, has integral adjustable boost controller as well as the different modes (winter/wet weather, valet, etc) it sure sounds impressive for the bucks.

P. S. - Thanks for the '04. 5... . my best truck buying experience ever.

Glad you like it... (your new truck)

I think the electronic boost controller is super cool (I would buy it seperate and use with the quad XRL, unless you go crazy and go for the tst or Juice)

But still the customer feedback is not there...

Hard call until someone pipes up about it that actually OWNS one!

I spoke with the guy that mans the box a few minutes ago and he said it was stackable and that he also offered custom programming for more experienced bombers. I think just with with the boost control feature it sounds intriguing. Especially with all I've read on here about the stock turbos not liking boost pressures around the 50 psi range.

I'm considering trying one, especially since he's offering a 30 day money back guarantee. Hopefully someone that does have one will post with their impressions.

Darryl

BTW, I quizzed him about the torque rating and he told me it was from a dyno test prior to the final product and he did feel it was conservative.

I've got one on the way with pressure and boost control only, no timing, I'm gonna try it with the TST, I wanted this mainly for the boost control and I can get rid of that little adjustable elbow, set the boost on 40 and let er rip.

We control the boost on our own. Adding a boost controller is not recommended. We have the boost tables and wastegate preset so that we have maximum power output with the lowest egt's possible. This on the 600's of course.

Quad

Quad, when we design our boxes one of our goals is to give our customers the most adjustability for there dollar.

Yes we could of designed our box with 1 or 3 set max boost values (and can custom tune it that way if someone wants it), but we chose instead to allow the customer to adjust boost themselves with in a safe range on the fly.

The Eliminator series gives the user the ability to adjust from zero to max added power. Great for a custom stacking arrangment or standalone for tuning.

I don't care what you do, or don't do. I was simply reffering to the above quote taken from another part of this thread. Please read and understand the post before you make your own.

I won't use a potentiometer and that is why I offer pre-set and tested levels. I have no desire to be in any part of this thread other than to make sure that someone does not try and use an add on boost fooler with one of our new products. It is not recommended.

Garry,

Your Eliminator with the custom tune is on its way. It got shipped out this morning, you should have a tracking number in your email. Enjoy!

Garry, are these for the 555's too? Doc

I'm not sure, give these folks a call they have been very helpful with me, not many manufacturers will discuss custom programming and these guys were very helpful.

hisss hissss ... ... ... that was pretty snippy wasn't it?

I'm getting bored with my EZ and tired of waiting on the Juice. I don't want a downloader, Banks is not enough bang for the buck and TST is too wild for a stock charger. The new Quad box was sounding interesting. No impressions from anybody on the 600 Eliminator?

Oh, they are beta testing the 555 now.

No need for a ******* match, that does not help anyone on this site.

We will let our products stand on there own; and let the features, user adjustability, and price speak for themselves.
