Is anyone using a sp66 on a 12v automatic, and still driving it on the street? How streetable would this be? I would think it would be laggy, but I have only been in a 5spd with a HTB2 62/12. My situation would have 100hp injectors, lazer dv's, and 3k kit. I guess another question would be could I tow with this? Any info would be great.

I have a local truck with a #10, and 370 that is about to get a 64 from them so we'll have some data there. The 66 might have a surge, I stress the word might, but I know it doesn't in a Twin configuration. The 62 would be another choice and I'll bet will become the #1 choice of most people.

I have one in a my truck. Not laggy at all. Very driveable. I can block out the sun if I want, but very good setup. Now a friend has a 24V with BD8 injectors and it can be a bit smoky.

i have one on also, i love the charger. spools very close to a 35 and 40, and once it hits you better keep your eyes on the road. even keeps my egts 1280 max. i have the surge but it is very easy to drive through or around. if you want to make a run, build boost slowly until 15 is reached, then begin to roll into the throttle and then floor it and the boost goes up so fast it pushes right through the rpm and psi that the surge occurs at, or you can just hit the od button twice and there isnt even an issue. it does seem that with the cooler air on the cooler nights here in md that the durge is very hard to make happen, must have something to do with the warmer less dense charge air, heavier air causing a tiny bit of lag on the charger keeping the surge away.
