Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Spa 211 Egt and Boost Gauge

Just inherited my dads truck and i know very little. the back light stopped coming on, new gauge $550 from NAPD Edmonton. good deal?

Go here, Contact SPA Technique send them an email or call. They can fix the backlights for 75. 00. Much cheaper than a replacement gauge. I am using spa gauges and have for over 240k with zero problems except for the backlights. Getting ready to send them mine as well.



Not trying to be smart alec as the backlights are known to go bad but are you sure they are on. You can adjust them in the programming. And depending on the version you have they may have two sets of backlights (different colors), you could try using the other color if you have them to see if they still work. They could probably send you a manual if you dont have one as well which is helpful for programming. Better yet here is a pdf for the manual that a quick search online found. This is for the later version of their gauges so it may or may not apply. I think they changed versions in 2003 or 2004.
