Okay, thanks to Matt400 I got the SPA rail-pressuse guage installed today. The other channel of the guage is a pressure channel that I want to use to measure fuel pressure to the cp3 (low-side fp).

So, where should I tap in, and what fittings will I need? Have I told you guys how much easier you make my life lately? :D

If I were doing it, I'd buy the billet fuel canister lid from Geno's. It has a port to measure pressure. Piece of cake.

That's how I was originally going to do mine. When I called Geno's to order it, they suggested I use a banjo fitting on the bottom of the fuel filter canister, since it is after the fuel filter. The chrome cover is before the fuel filter. I ended up using the banjo fitting, and the 18-inch fuel line hose. My guage is a Westach, though, so I don't know if it would work the same for the SPA.

Just please be careful about using the bottom banjo. It's post-filter, so any contamination you introduce has to be eaten by the CP-3.

if you are going to do it first you need to know what your going to do in the future with your setup, if you are going to keep your stock cp3 then i would put the input at the cp3 itself-that will give you the most accuarate readings, if you plan to do a fass upgrade and dont want to use the filter housing then i say to put it at the cp3 but use a banjo from genos and a tee type of fitting-then you can have fuel from the fass directly to the cp3 and still measure fuel pressure at the cp3 thats the best set up to have also you can run a straight line from the fass to the cp3 w/only 1 banjo connection at the cp3. thanks :-laf

Thanks Diesel Power, very helpful I DEFINATELY need some lift pump help, kind of silly using the stocker with injectors, turbo and box. :-laf

Right now with injectors and TST on 1/1 I only get about 18,000-20,000 psi on the rail, with TSt on 2/2 I am not seeing much over 15k. Both seem low to me, either the liftpump (poor little thing), relief valve, or cp3.

RBattelle, is there a spot for a banjo pre-filter? I agree pressure transducers are lots cheaper than a cp3.

There are no pre-filter banjo's (maybe there is one at the canister if you have the in-tank conversion?). You'd want to use the Geno's fuel canister cap.
