2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Spare Tire Carrier?

Will a 285x75x16 BFG All Terrain fit in the tire storage location on a 2001? There is a 265 in it now. Does not look like a lot of room to spare.

285/75 r16 should fit. It is considered the biggest tire that will fit in the spare tire location. I used a VERY worn down 295 in that space once. it fit with a little coercion.



Sometime aftermarket exhausts create a hinderance for that size tire to fit so check first.
