2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Spare tire size

I am running 285-75r-16's on my 98. 5, 4x4 automatic. I have a 245-75r-16 for a spare. Can I run the 245 on the truck for a spare or do I have to use a 285? I do not have lockers in the front or the back, both differentials are limited slip.

i'm certain mismatched tires will eat up a limited slip set up. a 285 will fit on your spare wheel and fit under the truck... ... just get a 5th one.
