Spare Tire Winch Lock

I am wondering if anyone has used the Mopar spare tire winch lock and if so is it any good. I was rotating the tires yesterday and discovered that my spare tire is missing. Now I am looking for a way to make sure it doesn't happen again.

I have not used the Mopar lock but I have had my spare tire stolen. I am now using a product named Winchlock. It attaches to the cross member above the tire. Simple to install. Here is the link to their site:

After having the winch itself fail on my '99 leaving my spare darn near touching the ground(wife spotted it"honey is that normal?") I purchased a master cable lock which threads over the crossmember and through the spokes of your spare. Cinch it closed,pull the key,put a piece of electrical over the slot,DON'T LOSE THE KEY! and you're set. Available from Amazon .com. About $20. 00 delivered. Bulletproof insurance.
