I have a 2001 quad cab SLT 4x4 long bed 2500. My spare tire was stolen and I need a spare tire winch tube.
Does anyone know of an aftermarket seller . My local Dodge dealer wants $71.00 for an OEM.

If you have a part number try quirk parts, i have used them in the past for a bunch of parts.

This could be part of what you need depending on how much is gone, the entire set up is $138, but this winch tube is listed at $38.

There are all sorts of Mopar places online always beats the local dealers IMO. My local Dodge/Ram dealer won't discount any parts over the counter 9 vehicles later. Why bother with a local place.

I had mine out a while back.
Pretty sure you can make one up out of scrap pipe.
IMPROVISE
Drill a hole in the end and use an L shaped tool (make one up) to raise/lower.
Like the camper jacks used to be.

Thanks for the input I ordered a part from MOPARParts but they cancelled the order the next day due to the part is no longer available.
Going by memory, I cut a length of 3/4" copper pipe. It might be slightly larger diameter than stock. Worked fine for me. No rust.

Thanks for your help ill improvise from now on.
