Only problem with starter motor and pump setup is that the starter motor run time is pretty short before it wants to fry the windings. Short cycle times just as in a winch setup. X amount of run then X amount of cool down! Cobbled together items may seem to fit the need, but how long will it last with use? Money and time better spent getting proper setup. Think about the trucks we drive? We got them to fill the need intended!
