Speaker Sizes??

2003 Quad Cab 2500-



Does anyone know what size speakers are in the Front/Rear Doors and in the dash. I was on Crutchfield, and they said the front doors are 6x9's, but from looking at the speaker grill, they look to be 6 1/2"s- Does anyone know for sure??

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

6x9's in the front door, but 6. 5's will fit with some modification. The rear doors are 5. 25 (I believe). I don't know about the dash.

I am looking at replacing my speakers and went to Crutchfield. They say 6x9's in the front doors and 6½'s in the rear doors. Someone posted here earlier that they had 5¼'s in the rear doors so I thought I better pull my door panels and see.



On my truck (built 5/03), I have 6x9's in the front (yes, there is only a round cutout in the panel) and 5¼'s in the rear.



If you have any doubt, pull your panels. They come off real easy. Unbolt the door handle, and remove the one screw on the top of the panel where the mirror is (front door only), the screw behind the door handle, and the two screws at the bottom. The door panels slide straight up. You'll need to unplug the windw switches and they are off.



I don't have the fron dash speakers, but they do like like 3½"
