Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Special Grid Heater Option?

So I'm finally getting around to try and fix my air leak using WBusa's tips from a couple of years ago on the fuel lines. I have manually primed it until that quit working since I use the truck very little these days.

Anyway, it was folded over. Looks to have been on there from the day it was put together.

Some of it did disappear. Glad it was just paper. But yeah, I'm surprised any of it was left. I only have 52K miles on her. But then I don't think I ever cycled it twice before starting and once she's running, the air suction was below the elements so fire would have a problem getting going.
