I have the sunroof and I place my seat in the lowest position. No issues.

My head hits the sunroof with the seat in the lowest and furthest aft position when I sit up straight. Couldn’t even have sunglasses on my head.

Ram needs to take notes from the Furd SD sunroof.

Maybe drive one of there for a few days to reset what is plenty of room.

I had one of these in 1500 flavor and used to say the back seat was for small children or double-amputees only - then I tried to put my 1yr old son back there in his car seat and it didn't fit - his little legs pushed up against the back of the front seat! This was 2006 and we went out the next week and bought the MegaCab (he is 6' 4" now and fits fine!).

It's not our fault that you are so short.

you being taller and me having 36” inseam I can see that happening.

Who needs a sunroof? My trucks won’t ever have one. Daughter’s Jeep has one, son’s Subaru Crosstrek has one and my wife’s Durango has one. Never use them. I wouldn’t be fond of one in a roll over that’s for sure.

Personally, I dont care for sunroofs in trucks, but my wife wanted the panoramic one in her 19 Ram 1500. Fuy thing is, the only tie it gets used is when I use it. Go figure.

To me, the 19+ Rams have enough features and differences that I would buy one. I guess there is a blessing in being average height 5 ft 10 inches that I fit cofortably in most anything.

Cheers, Ron

I hunt in some steep country, sure will be cool to see game on the uphill side of the road :D:D:p
Fair enough, I get claustrophobic if theres too many trees or mountains. Easy to spot game here. Put your name in the mule deer draw and we will find you one for the wall.

Family got back to their vehicle after being on the job for 3 weeks.

Sunroof leaked during record heavy rainstorms. Maybe dammed sunroof drains plugged again. (Dam pun intended.)

Water inches deep in the footwells. Airbags: side impact, passenger dash, got wet. Leather seats had mold on them. Total Loss of the vehicle. Considered "Flood Loss" and state law there required it to be crushed. Ins company ignored that law, perhaps because it wasn't in a flood, and auctioned it anyway.

No, No thank you. You can keep your high priced NOTHING-BUT-TROUBLE Option off my vehicles.

My 06 had a sunroof.... It leaked anytime it rained hard, Hated it... Water would drip out of the grab handle mounting point and onto the window switch assembly. My 18 had a sunroof, Didn't want it but it was the only truck that had everything else I did want..... Of course that one sucked too, Never sealed in the rear as the cab sheetmetal was pushed down in the center as if someone climbed on top of the cab.... It was from the factory like that. Service department said "Looks fine, We compared it to other sunroof equipped trucks on the lot". Drove me nuts... Sold it to a friend and ordered my 19 with no sunroof OR RamBox.

The used Lexus ES350 we bought for my wife a few years ago was our first sunroof. We were on vacation the week after we got it and had driven on some brine treated roads so we ran it through a car wash. We’d had the cover open enjoying the sun and I noticed a LOT of water leaking in.... I was freaking out but none ran into the car (I also discovered the car had auto wipers that day). After we got out of the car wash I inspected everything but found nothing wet. After a web search I learned it was made to let the water in and that it had a gutter system that ran the water out under the car through tubing....

If water from a leaking sun roof enters the cab then there is something wrong, either the drain hoses (in all 4 corners) are blocked or have fallen off. A sun roof is by definition not entirely water tight.
Most off the time the hoses are stuck with debris and mold from trees and such.
