Just got mine today with someother stuff I ordered. Anybody used these yet?

Any tips, or just proceed as normal with bleeding the brakes from the furthest point to closest? Since front and rear are two different systems, can I bleed both at the same time?

thx

Well, I ordered them for my truck also, but even though they claim they will fit the 2001 trucks, they don't. The thread pattern is too coarse on the Geno's bleeders, and will not fit either the front or rear discs on my truck

Oh, well...

I have them, used them, and they are great:D

I followed the procedure in the FSM and it recommends, one at a time, starting from the furthest.

I noticed fewer pedal strokes/pumps were required to get clean fluid as I moved closer to the master cylinder.

If your not getting the right ones from Geno's, try contacting SpeedBleeders direct. The link is in my sig.

BTW, I am surprised Geno's is not on top of this. My experience with them has always been top notch for service and support.

Got an email from Robin at Genos.

They are going to drop this product from their catalog. The company was bought out by Edelbrock and isn't providing the products very well. The rear ones will not fit the 2001 trucks.

By the way the Genos folks are very helpful and honorable to deal with.

Just a correction. I spoke with Speedbleeders.com. THEY WERE NOT BOUGHT OUT BY EDELBROCK!!! Russell Performance, who speedbleeder's, was bought out by Edelbrock. Speedbleeders is still indepently owned
