Speed limiter and TST

I'm helping a friend with his 01, when he had a E-Z box it was not speed limited (only RPM ), now he has a TST comp box and it shuts down at about 95 in OD but runs to 3400 in 3rd. It an auto trans.

What are you guys seing with your TST boxes?



Yes, I know 95 should be fast enough!!

Something is wrong.

I have run along with many other Cummins @ 120mph.

Equipped with TST and Edge boxes.



Have your buddy give TST a call.

He talked with TST today- different guy- and they suggested checking grounds again.

He found it and it seem too be running fine now.

I had an issue a while back after installing a TST "2" , I"d get a check engine light at about 90mph.

fault code claimed it was a speed difference between inputs ( or some such thing)

A call to TST and they told me how to fix, never happened again.
