Hi guys,ordered a new mopar speed sensor. Part # 05013660aa. Took parts manager a few minutes to look one up. Said there was a revision. They all had gone to one part #. The new sensor came with a new harness,heat shrink and instructions. While the instructions are vauge and new harness is a 3 wire(old connector is two wire)and SENSOR itself is one for a car. The short type with a big seal and plastic clip ends. Its way to long and not any way to connect/seal it to the adapter housing. Like totaly WONT work! Any of you all run into this yet?:-{}

There are two types of sensors for our trucks, depending on the type of transmission or if there is a transfer case. The 2 wire is for manual or transfer case equipped trucks. The 3 wire is for automatic 2 wheel only trucks. From what I can tell by the schematic, the third wire could just be capped off and not used. What are the color of the wires, on your sensor? If you tell me what you have, I can tell you how to hook them up.

Two of the wires wil mtch. No prob;em. But the whole sensor wont fit. Totaly differant. Wont fit into adapter on the transfer case.

Figured it out. PARTS manager needed to dig deeper! Was a notation on transfer cases. If it was a 241 or 205. His mistake. Ordered another one. We will see .
