Speedo problem/questions

Hey all- I am just wrapping things up on my 3 year old cummins/GMC conversion project. Anyway, I am having problems now with figuring what to do with my T-case/Speedo. Originaly I was going to run a Dodge 241 with a GM speed sensor. I then decided to up the power big time to the cummins and for pulling I decided to jump up the the HD unit but the only problem is most don't have provisions for a speedo. I found out that 1996/1997 units do have the speedo provision so I purchased one of them from my driveline shop. The only problem now is the Dodge speedo plug has 3 wires and the GM speedo plug has 2 wires.



Does anyone know if I can just run the 3wire unit somehow with only the 2 GM wires??? Not sure what the 3 wires all are on the Dodge harness.
