Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) speedo

96 all is stock on this new addition and only 59,000 miles! having a small prob the speedo is going out at random. Ive seen some posts about sensors, but none of these post have a problem with just the speedo. any sugestions Thanks.

The speeddometer gear/sensor are located on the drivers( I think could be on passengers side) side/rear of the trans (2wd) transfer case (4wd). Check connections/wiring and then again it could be your speedometer going out.
