Does anyone know who can recalibrate my speedo? The guy at 4wheel parts said he sold a box to do it for $400! I told him to go jump off a cliff! I heard someone on here say they took it to the dodge house and they did it at no charge. Is that true? Thanks guys
Superchip programmer will do it. That's a bit cheaper than $400 I believe. The guy I bought my truck from got the programmer mainly for that reason, since he had put 315s on the truck.
The local DC dealer did mine for free. There are two methods of inputing the data needed with the DRB-III. The default way is to select a tire size. I think there are 3 or 4 pre-programmed tire sizes in the computer. The 2nd way it to input the # of tire revolutions per mile. This can get it really accurate if you have odd or oversize tires. If you ask them to do this while it is in for other service they may be more willing to do it for nothin for you.
i would first try the dealership or else try the guys at www.ricksontruck.com and click on the speedometer correction link for about $185 check it out and good luck
