Don't know if this problem has been discussed, but I just lost my ABS and speedo (has been discussed to death!) but for a strange reason. When sensor swap didn't resolve it I got ready to tear apart the deeper electronics. First I stripped the feeble covering for the twisted pair harness from where it appears like a groundhog popping over the frame rail at the fuel tank and heads back to the diff. Right there I stabbed a finger on the raw strands of one of the leads, which had been rubbed raw over the miles and oxidized. Test clip showed this was the problem. An easy fix, IF you know to look there! Mopar, why is such a critical circuit passed over the frame instead of thru a bushing? At least now it's safely shielded in 2 layers of looming. Moral of the story, don't forget to check the simple stuff.

Yeah..... mine works good..... When it rains!!! :-laf The wires have been pulled from running offroad in the brush, so I'm currently thinking the ground wire is pulled into, as it works fine as long as there is moisture on the highway, blowing up on the rear diff..... logged 150 miles the other day!!! Getting lousy mileage, though... . :-laf

It just strikes me that for such a sensitive circuit-heck it's a twisted wire pair so electrical noise can't be coupled in, it wasn't given better protection on its way 'home'. Not how I would have wired it, not how I was taught (thanks dad!)
