Take it to the dealer......

They can set certain tire sizes with the DRB. Although I remeber reading a thread on here about them not doing it for way oversized tires. Call your local stealer and find out what they can do.

Depends on what size tire you are going to. When my son put 305/16 on his they could not go that big. He's got the 295/75 16 now and last I heard thats still too big. His speedometer is aroung 8-10 mphs off.

Speedo Correction

I installed the Super Lift TruSpeed box and I love it. It has a switch so you can dial in two different settings for differents tire sizes. You can adjust it an infinite number of times and it's easy to calibrate. I fine-tuned mine right while I was driving! Great product IMO!

CumminsPower98 How much is the truspeed speed signal calibrator? This just might be what my son needs on his 99 if the price is reasonable.

Abbott ERA

I bought the Abbott ERA box from Janetty Racing for seriously less money. It works the same and I think it's actually the original electronic speedo correction device.

I paid $150 for the Abbott including shipping. One caveat; it only works as is with rear anti-lock brakes, not four wheel anti-lock brakes. Mine's worked flawlessly since install about 3 months ago.

I second the Abbott ERA from JRE!

I've had it on my '99 for 4 months now with no problems. Works great with my 35" BFG A/T's!
